I.D Style
Our I.D. Style tube plugs use an adjustable rubber design allowing them to slip completely into the tube I.D. This design is great for applications that have coatings on the tube sheet that extend into the tubes or when tubes are epoxy coated. O.D Style
Our O.D. Style Tube Plug has the same adjustable design as our I.D. Style plug but differs in the fact that instead of being inserted completely into the tube, this plug inserts until the larger washer meets the tube sheet. This design prevents the plug from moving inside the tube. This plug can be used in both permanent and temporary applications; The design uses durable rubber bodies rated to withstand 220 degrees. These are available in Brass, Bronze, and Stainless Steel.
Pin and Collar Plug
Designed as a permanent style plug, these two piece plugs come with a tapered pin with matching collar to create a total seal. These plugs are designed to seal in high temperature applications and isolate leaking tubes from the rest of the system. Also designed to be used in tube sheets where a tube sample was removed. These can be machined to custom sizes from your drawing specifications. Projectile Tube Cleaning can also make these out of special materials upon request.
Tapered Pin Plug
One piece Tapered Pin Plugs are designed to fit specific tube sizes as a permanent style plug. These are available in Stainless steel, Brass, and Bronze. However we are able to machine these out of special materials upon request.
