Tube Plugging/Pulling Service
Experienced Projectile Tube cleaning personnel are available to plug or pull condenser or heat exchanger
tubes. Tube plugging services are available independently or in conjunction with cleaning or leak detection
services. Tube sheet mapping is also available.

Deposit Analysis
Projectile Tube cleaning offers Deposit analysis to help stations find out the make-up of their equipment’s
tube deposits. This service is used to determine the elemental composition of a specific condenser’s and/
or heat exchanger’s tube deposit. After the deposit has been filtered and then dried, loss-on-ignition (LOI)
testing is performed and a representative portion is analyzed. A report is provided.
Deposit Density
Full-length tube deposit samples are taken by shooting tube cleaners through selected tubes and collecting
the entire tubes contents. These samples are filtered and dried, then weighed to determine deposit weight in
grams, to determine deposit weight and density.
